![]() ![]() ![]() In any case, the idea orriginally was to create a private modpack, but since every mod involved had a policy of 'use in modpacks freely!' or something close like your request for a list of other mods, we decided to make it publicly available. Several complete recodes later, here we are on a slightly buggy 1.7.10 release. When minecraft 1.3 came out, and a lot of mods had to be recoded form scratch to work with forge instead of modloader, He merged the two mods under the single name "Chocolate Quest." Also, to make structure building easier, he added a system of an Exporter block that allowed an area to be selected and saved as a Dungeon, that can then spawn in the world. This seperate mod was called Dungeon loot. He called it 'Better Dungeons'Īt some point, he decided to add in some items as dungeon loot that were not in vannilla minecraft and had some pretty cool effects, like the hookshot or the cloud boots. Everything from extended forms of the vannilla dungeons, to pirate ships, to castles. ![]() Since I don't expect anyone to read up extencively on Chocolate quest before replying to this, here's a quick overview:Ī long while ago a guy (user)named Chocolatin made a mod that generated dungeons throughout the world, full of difficult monsters and powerful items should the player attack them. The Unique Artifacts mod came up as (In my personal opinion) one of the best options. I came up with a list of mods that I thought would work nicely with it, and then prospected around the forums for a little bit for even more. Then it occurred to me that one of the mod's greatest assets is just how nicely it works with other mods, so I decided to put a few other mods into there. I had already created a wiki for the mod, and I'm sort-of friends with the creator, plus I was already running a private vannilla server, so I was certainly the right guy to ask, and I started working on turning that server into a public server and adding the mod. I was, a little while ago, requested to run an offical server for a mod called Chocolatequest, I reccommend reading the whole long thang though so that everything later makes sense. Hello, I have a long story-thing that ends with some genuine inquiries and that stuff. ![]() you could try to disable all the ones that have a "passive" effect unfortunately that would disable it for all artifacts, not just the ones that it acts passively for. The reason is they are all technically the same item, so they are counted as one item in the chest loot.Įdit: Oh, but you can disable certain effects in the config. Yeah, you can't change the spawn rate of the specific types of artifacts in the chests. Otherwise, i really love how this mod adds something actually valuable to the dungeon loot, and rewards exploration. that would actually work pretty nicely too. Would it be possible to make the configs a litte more specific to enable disable certain types of items, please? or maybe a config to allow just a single talisman to have an effect. but someone could grind those artifacts and run around with a full inventory of statues, talismans etc. I dont really care about weapons, armor and baubles, since you can only equip them once. Since im running botania, and it has a way to generate dungeon loot (even at a hefty price), it would be nice if there was a way to disable the artifacts that have an effect in your backpack. ![]()
